Jason Farris is a former Business in Vancouver "40 under 40" winner, best-selling author, and film producer. His mix of cultural and athletic pursuits along with his financial services, on-line media and software experience feed the creativity and artistic passion that are at the heart of circaNow’s inter-disciplinary productions.

Jason’s professional career has been diverse and rewarding. Most recently he was President and CEO of Citizens Bank of Canada. Earlier in his career he built a strong software services business and was a marketing executive for Fincentric; managed operational accounting and IT projects for MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a multi-national high tech company; and chased down deals as a business consultant for the Jim Pattison Group.

Jason earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he developed an expertise in post-merger management of high tech firms. He also holds a B.A. (Political Science) degree from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. (Physics) degree from the University of British Columbia.

Jason is on the selection committee, and serves as a team mentor, for the University of Toronto's Rotman Business School program, The Next 36. Over the years Jason has also served on the board of directors of Vancity Capital Corp., the Visa® Canada Association, and Shad Valley International, a national not-for-profit organization. Married, with two children, Jason and his family make their home in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
